Pool Holograph always manages to approach their version of post-jangle-rock with graceful ease. Following their sophomore release in 2017, Transparent World, the band has been on a streak of single releases that leave long-time listeners wanting more. "Life by the Powerplant" is a little more industrial and fuzzy around the edges, signaling a shift within the Chicago-based quartet.
The recent announcement of their third album, set for Oct. 2, will be a perfect fall-time release for angsty reflection to some killer guitar and baselines.
